It is expected that Lisa’s treatment will cost between $50,000 and $65,000. Since OHIP has rejected her request for any financial aid, this over-burdening cost now falls on Lisa alone. And like most of us, Lisa doesn't have an extra $50,000 just lying around. For her, it's a matter of life and death.
